This treatment has saved my life. I’ve had treatment resistant depression my entire life. Really, my entire life. To say I’ve tried everything is an understatement. Diet changes, therapy, antidepressants- you name it, I’ve tried it. I tried the Spravato route first and did not care for it at all. Then, I found the at home treatment through Joyous. I have become a person I’ve never been able to be. I don’t feel like a cloud is constantly over me, my ADHD has greatly improved, and my anxiety over small things is nearly nonexistent. This treatment has been invaluable to me and I am so grateful I found it.
I have MDD, GAD and CPTSD. I've tried everything. I've been on SSRIs, SNRIs & benzodiazapines since childhood. Nothing has ever worked without awful side effects.Joyous has been like magic for my brain. I'm actually making progress in therapy! I'm finally absorbing the coping skills I've been trying to learn. I'm more active, I'm more patient with my family, I'm sleeping better & I'm getting back into my old hobbies. I’ve been with Joyous for just under a month and i have to say that I am so impressed. I was able to be seen very quickly, got the medication just a few days after my appointment and have been following their protocol ever since. I’ve been dealing with combat related PTSD for the better part of a decade. The VA has thrown nearly every medication my way with none of them ever really making a difference. I was about to give up until I heard about ketamine therapy. I looked into it months ago but wasn’t able to afford the prices at the time. I felt really discouraged until I came across Joyous. I didn’t notice much in the beginning because my dose was so low, but I’ve recently had it upped a bit and I’m really starting to feel it take effect. I’m happier, nicer, able to sleep better and so much less anxious than I have been since getting out of the Marines. I feel so grateful to have come across them when I did and I thank them so much for helping me get control of my life again.
I have been with Joyous for a month now. I have to say, I am very impressed with them in every way. Yes, the primary way to contact is by text; however, I have found them to be very responsive. At first, I didn't notice any changes but it's because the dose was too low. That being said, when responding to the daily feedback request they quickly adjust your dose accordingly, which I am super grateful for as I am starting to notice a difference after trying everything else (including ECT and TMS) which failed. I highly recommend this company and would give them 10 stars if I could!
